CG17- Cassiterite with Arsenopyrite and Quartz. Panasqueira mine, Aldea de Sao Francisco de Assis, Covilha, Portugal.
Cassiterite crystals from the Panasqueira mines are usually in small sizes, no more than 1 cm. This sample comprises a large (for Panasqueira mine) and bright translucent crystal of Cassiterite with very well defined faces and accompanied by crystals of metallic grey Arsenopyrites, Quartz and Muscovite. Fine Panasqueira combo in excellent condition.
