CH26- Azurite with Malachite. Khanong open pit, Sepon Mine, Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Laos
A great new locality the Sepon Mine in Laos has been producing a few unusual and very fine Azurites. This specimen comprises a very sharp Azurite crystal, aerial, with very well defined faces and edges, extraordinarily bright and deep blue color and on matrix, with fibrous Malachite. The sample has a better quality than the usual for the locality. No damage.
